Job Descriptions

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Sales Manager to boost our customer base of our client’s products. He will be responsible for pursuing leads in our database as well as discovering new prospects through traditional and international marketing techniques. Will often collaborate with the sales team, must be able to work independently. Our ideal candidate has sales experience.

• Monitoring the overall performance of sales department
• Develop strategies for more effective sales
• Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed
• Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers
• Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; and analyzing trends and results.
• Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
• Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
• Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
• Completes national and international sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results.
• Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review.
• Monitor competition by gathering current market place information on pricing and products
• Promote company’s products as directed by upper management
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value
• Searching for new clients within the country and outside
• Do the marketing work assigned by management like FM radio promotion, shop heads branding, posters/flyers/rollup branding .etc.
• Any other work that maybe assigned by the management

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ background in home appliance industry field sales with management sales experience
• Know how to do the marketing work to promote brand or have marketing work experience before
• Understanding of MS Office System including Excel & Word & PowerPoint
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in working with the home appliance industry field
• Fluent & confident presenter

• Management capability
• Computer operation capability like Excel & Word & PowerPoint
• Able to work long hours
• Flexible, reliable, hard worker, adaptable, responsible and Team player
• Speak English and Kiswahili language

• Must speak French
• Able to travel outside Tanzania i.e. CONGO, BURUNDI,RWANDA
